Sustainability Aware is a series of educational apps made to inform and engage kids about our environment and our impacts on the Earth. Doing Your Bit explores how you can reduce your ecological footprint and live more sustainably.

In this app we’ll find out all about the following topics:
• the definition of a global citizen
• the impact human activity is having on our planet
• why the planet’s problems are everyone’s responsibility
• ecological footprints and their distribution around the globe
• a range of practical ways we can shrink our ecological footprints
• the history of the green movement and what green groups do
• how kids can get involved in shaping a more sustainable future for the planet.

Reading level: Approximately 10–12 years old, Australian middle to upper primary school level. Suitable for guided reading and classroom use.
